Fullscreen on Android Client with Samsung DeX

I know this has been asked before, but I would love the Android client to be able to go fullscreen on Samsung DeX.

The main reason for this is to get crystal clear 1 to 1 resolution mapping. I could scale the client to match the server, but that’s messing with text in a bad way (blurry/aliased).

I tried a custom resolution, but apparently this is often not supported by the server (I tried 1920×1000 instead of 1920×1080)

Is this something that is still on the roadmap, or are there better ways to accomplish this ? The next available resolution on the slider in settings is way too low.

PS. I’m also using moonlight/sunshine, a more gaming oriented [removed]-like screen sharing solution that goes fullscreen on DeX.

That post is 3 years old and we released a new mobile version since then that correctly supports window resizing 🙂

Is your actual problem that the window bar is visible on top? This is a common problem on DeX, for example

One user of that thread said “I did Force Stop Dex for PC and cleared the apps cache. It now works”. Could you try the same?

If, instead, the problem is not the bar showing, what is it? Is the remote desktop not supporting the resolution of the DeX screen geometry? What OS/version is on the remote desktop by the way?
