Hello, I installed NoMachine on two different Windows PCs and was very happy with the quality of the software. However, since this morning I can’t connect from machine B to A anymore. The error message is simply “Host key verification failed”. I’m using NoMachine on the local network only.

Strangely enough, machine B can see machine A on the lan, but not the other way around.

Also, the software is always asking for administrator permissions when starting, stopping server, refreshing, etc.

The only different thing I did was to install NET Framework 3.5 for other purposes.

Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

We couldn’t reproduce the problem. Are you trying to connect via NX protocol? Which NoMachine versions are installed on both sides? If error show again please zip .nx (which is in the home directory) and send it to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.
