    How can I disable system tray notifications?

    I would like to connect to a NoMachine server *without* the user perceive that I’m connected.

    I do not want to start a religious war whether this is moral or not: I just want to do it, so keep in mind this before answering that what I’m asking here is a politically incorrect, not legal and so on.

    I simply would like to know *how* can I accomplish this.

    thank you  in advance

    You can do it but you’ve to change the configuration manually. Locate the file node.cfg in the install directory, change the value of the key “DisplayMonitorNotifications” and restart the NoMachine server. The configuration file documents each key so it’ll be easy to understand how it works.

    Nope!

    I edited node.cfg on the user’s pc, setting the key

    DisplayMonitorNotifications=0

    then I restarted the user machine

    but the user still is notified when I connect to his machine: I do not want that the user to be notified when I connect to his machine: I want to be completely hided.

    Is this possible?

    Hi fab.
    Set the key in this way:

    DisplayMonitorNotifications 0

    If you already did it and it was just misspelled here, can you give me details about your server OS?
