Hello,
we’re running NoMachine 7.8.2 on a Redhat Enterprise Linux 7.9 server. Client is also NoMachine 7.8.2 running as well on RHEL7.9 or on Windows 10. Desktop used is KDE.
By running “xset q” the currently set X font path in the NoMachine session (virtual desktop) is displayed as
Font Path:
/usr/share/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/share/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/share/X11/fonts/100dpi/,built-ins
Now the user applications expect some dedicated fonts, i.e. the following X font path is expected
Font Path:
xset fp catalogue:/etc/X11/fontpath.d,built-ins
Question: How can I configure NoMachine to set the X font path by default to catalogue:/etc/X11/fontpath.d?
After login into the NoMachine user session the user can set the right path with “xset fp catalogue:/etc/X11/fontpath.d,built-ins”, but this is inconvenient as it is every time a manual action. I.e. if the X server would be started with the right font path automatically would be the perfect solution.
Thanks & best regards,
Ruediger
