Recently NoMachine (free edition) started chiming every time I connect to the remote. The remote/server is a mobile robot running ubuntu 22.04 and the player/client is a windows machine. The chime / trill  connection sound is playing on the server (robot). Where is the setting to suppress this? what’s it called? Right now i’m muting the speaker on the robot –  but that’s a bad override for a voice-enabled robot.

    server 8.18.4

    player 9.2.18

    any help appreciated

Hi, you can disable it in the Server settings > Security. It’s under ‘Desktop notifications’.
