I’m reading that one of the abilities of NoMachine is to be able to move files between connected machines. I’m not able to do that. The “local” machine is a laptop running OS X 10.9.1, the “remote” machine is a desktop running 10.6.8. In reality they’re side by side. I have successfully set NoMachine up on both machines and am able to access the remote machine from the local and do just about all the functions you’d expect. But I am not able to copy files from one machine to the other. I have specifically selected a drive on the remote machine to connect to. Somehow I expect the solution will be embarrassingly simple. Let me know please. Thanks.

NoMachine free (v4.0.369) on both machines.

Hi! If you want to transfer a file from the local machine to the remote machine, go to the monitor (black and white !M icon) and click ‘Upload a file to the server’. If you want to do it the other way round, go the monitor on the remote desktop and select ‘Send a file to a client’.

Let us know if you continue to have issues.
