Images corrupted

Version 6.7.6 Both side

I encounter this issue several times. The displayed images are corrupted after several times dragging the cursor on the remote machine. It can not be recovered just by waiting. I have to disconnect and reconnect to solve this. Is there any option to focus update all image, not just overlapping image on the old one?

I have tried to set a fixed FPS, or set the image quality to each level, or click some option in display setting. Nothing works.

Hi,

for a start, you can try to disable hardware decoding, by checking the box in the session menu:

and hardware encoding, by uncommenting and changing the relevant key in the <installation directory>/etc/node.cfg file:

EnableHardwareEncoding 0

I have set the config as you told. The image still glitches after setting this value. But it’s better than before. The image will recover a few seconds from the corrupted state. But when I trying anything, I can’t see anything on the remote screen. I have to wait for the image to become clear.

Does setting max quality in https://www.nomachine.com/DT07M00087#5.7 make any difference? You can also try to check ‘Disable network-adaptive display quality’ and ‘Disable multi-pass display encoding’ in the same panel.

You may also try to disabled UDP. To do so, enter the Edit panel of the connection, click Advanced and uncheck ‘Use UDP communication for multimedia data’.

If nothing works, please send a video recording showing the issue.
