I am on a trip but still want to play monster hunter world. So I use NoMachine to remotely play. However, some of the actions in the game require me to simultaneously left+right click and it seems NoMachine can’t handle this. Sometimes, the left+right click works but most of the time there is no respond after I left+right click. Tried to google the problem but found nothing, please help.

    Hi dd0044,

In order to help you, we first need to know more about your environment:

    – can you tell us which version of NoMachine you are using ?

    – what is the operating system of the client device, and what type of mouse are you using ?

Thank you in advance for the feedback.

Hi Bilbotine, much appreciate for your help.

I’m using verson 6.2.4, on both end of computer.

Both computers are Win 10 and I’m using a normal polar mouse with wire.

    Hi again dd0044,

We made tests with other games and didn’t encounter this issue. We can test this particular game, but it can take a few days to get the result.

In the meantime we have investigated, and it seems it could be a game problem: https://monsterhunterworldfix.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012910332-Monster-Hunter-World-gamepad-Keyboard-Mouse-Fixes

Have you checked this patch, and did it make a difference, or not ?

    Hi Bilbotine,

I tried to install that patch but there is an error encountered, I tried to put the setup file to my monster hunter world sub-folder under the steam folder, but the result is the same. It said there is an unknown reason preventing the installation.

    Hi dd0044,

Unfortunately, this error is not related to NoMachine and we cannot help.

Did you try contacting the game’s forum to have their advice?

Dear dd0044, this specific game seems to have a problem causing this specific issue.

It can still be a problem with NoMachine, of course, but it is absolutely advisable to first try the patch and then verify if it’s actually so.

We strongly invite you to do your best to install the game’s patch, possibly with the help of the game’s publisher, otherwise it will be difficult for us to investigate the problem without a well-specific starting point.
