I connect to a macmini using NoMachine. I’ve used it for several months and it has been working. Today, when I connected, the mouse and keyboard stopped working. The sticky pad in the upper right corner does not work either. I can ctrl-alt-T and ctrl-alt-0 to exit / access settings. I’ve toggled a lot of settings, rebooted several times, but still it is not working. Any suggestions?

1. What is the client side OS and NoMachine version?
2. Mouse and keyboard are correctly sent to the remote desktop and they don’t work only when you want to open the client menu, or they don’t work at all and you can’t interact with the remote desktop?
3. You’re now using Ctrl + Alt + T to raise the disconnect dialog. How did you close the connection with the desktop when you didn’t have problems with input events?
4. Can you see the small upper right corner peel when you move over it? Only the click is not registered?

NoMachine version: 6.11.2_1
Windows 10 Enterprise for client
Linux Centos 7.4 for server

If you’ve the same issue reported by Matt (menu opening, etc), could you answer to questions 2, 3 and 4 of my previous post?
Additionally, do you’ve issues only with terminals or with any application running remotely?July 28, 2020 at 16:37 #28734randymParticipant1. already answered
NoMachine version: 6.11.2_1

2. mouse and keyboard will work initially for a few minutes. Then when you try to use either input device terminals start closing and then the connection closes
3. I don’t close the session it closes on its own.
4. I see the peel, but once terminals start closing no inputs work to open it.

The terminals closure could be caused by this issue:

When you notice input starts working badly, try the workaround described in the Trouble Report. I’d be grateful if you can confirm it.

The next day, it suddenly started working again so I let it go. But since others may be having the same issue here are my answers:
1. What is the client side OS and NoMachine version?
Client is ubuntu 18.04 and NoMachine is current as of July2020 (not sure how to get version while it is running).
2. Mouse and keyboard are correctly sent to the remote desktop and they don’t work only when you want to open the client menu, or they don’t work at all and you can’t interact with the remote desktop?
They don’t work at all. Actually, they did work very slowly but only in the window that had focus when first logged into the screen share.
3. You’re now using Ctrl + Alt + T to raise the disconnect dialog. How did you close the connection with the desktop when you didn’t have problems with input events?
I used the corner peel.
4. Can you see the small upper right corner peel when you move over it? Only the click is not registered?
No the corner peel did not work.
Everything suddenly started working as suddenly as it stopped and has not been a problem since.
