    Hi folks.

I saw with happiness that there was a new version of the NoMachine client for my iPad a day or two ago.  Excellent.  Thanks to whoever made that happen 🙂

It did fix some of the issues that I’d been having with the older release.  Namely that after changing settings, I had to disable and re-enable my external Apple keypad before I could type again.

So far, the main problem I’m seeing is that after setting a display size of 1280×1024, it only seems to last for the session  The next time I launch the app (or it’s been swapped out and restarted), the size has reset to the native size of the screen on the target host.  In my case ubuntu 22.04.

This isn’t a show stopper.  But it’s kinda annoying.

The second problem I’m having, which might be just a user error, is that when I use two fingers to scroll a window on the target host, usually I end up zooming the screen in as well and have to unzoom it.

    Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for the report, we’re going to verify the issue with the resolution not restored. How do you change it, through resolutions slider or custom resolution fields?
About the scroll gesture, did you notice if you had the same experience with the past version? We tuned the scroll to be more soft, but it should not affect other gesture recognitions. What is your iPad model?

iPad pro 10.5″ running iPados 17.7.8.

I change the resolution using the slider.  It works ok until the app is restarted.

I didn’t attempt to scroll on earlier versions of the iPad nomachine client.

    thanks!
