My setup is that I am connecting from the current (just-downloaded, 4.129) Windows client to a Mac that is running the current (just-downloaded, 4.128) version as well. The Windows version is 8.1 Pro, and the Mac OS X version is 10.9.2.
On the Mac, I am also running Parallels version 9.0.24217. It is running two VMs. One of them runs Windows 7 Professional SP1, and the other runs Ubuntu 13.10 (3.11.0-19-generic).
Everything is 64-bit.
Here’s the problem. When I connect to the Mac using NoMachine, and then use one of the VMs inside the NoMachine session, the keyboard in Ubuntu behaves as expected (although sometimes it gets “sticky” – like typing “888888…” instead of “8”).
In the Windows VM, however, the shift key has no effect. So to get capital letters, I have to use CAP LOCK. And to get exclamation marks, question marks, parentheses, asterisks, curly brackets, etc? I have to type one in Mac OS X and PASTE it.
That seems unintended. Can you help?
Thanks,
Chris Leonard
