Hello, maybe someone here can help me …
I installed the free version of NoMachine on a Linux machine (Ubuntu 20.04) to get remote access from another Windows PC. It works fine, except that the normal Linux machine screen is now frozen with just a fixed cursor on top left.
When I look at the screen configuration of the Linux machine with xrandr, I get :
Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 1536 x 864, maximum 16384 x 16384
nxoutput0 connected 1536×864+0+0 390mm x 219mm
2560×1440 60.00 +
….
And no others screen. So it seems that NoMachine has disabled all the screens except a virtual “nxoutput0”.
When I try to restart the Xorg configuration (sudo Xorg -configure, with the x server stopped), I get the error
Number of created screens does not match number of detected devices.
Configuration failed.
(EE) Server terminated with error (2). Closing log file.
Any idea?
