Hi. We are currently trialing NoMachine to see if it is suitable. We are primarily using it for remote assistance and cooperative screen sharing.

One thing I find rather disturbing is that the remote cursor seems to take priority over the local cursor? If both users move their cursor at the same time, the remote user wins. This is the opposite of what I would expect. As it stands, with NoMachine the remote user could probably prevent the local user from disconnecting them, which does not seem like a good idea from a security viewpoint!

This behaviour makes cooperative screen sharing somewhat problematic.

I have not been able to find any settings which would affect this. Is there something I am missing? If not, could this behaviour be changed please?

    Thanks.

Security settings regarding how much control you give or don’t give to the trusted person which is connecting to your own desktop are available here.  https://www.nomachine.com/DT11M00107#3
