Login credentials not being stored

I have read the other two posts on this issue. I have exactly the same problem as others. I.e. I get asked for login credentials in spite of checking the box to save them – as well as the first two prompts (about muting audio and setting screen size) – after a day or so of not making a connection. It doesn’t happen immediately each time.  I can log out and in without getting prompted over about a day. Thereafter, I get prompted again.

However, it doesn’t matter which system I am using. I have NoMachine install on macOS – Sierra and High Sierra – Windows 7, 10 – and various flavors of Linux. I have the exact same problem on *all* the systems from each other to each other.

 

Please advise.
