    Hi Milika, the logs you submitted a few weeks back didn’t show any errors. So we confirm that software encoding is being used instead of HW encoding due to the high resolution. Using Tahoe will show the same thing. As Bilbotine mentioned, we are planning to add support to use HW encoding for resolutions higher than 4k.

    I’d like to add that even on the 1080p monitors at work, the same behavior still happens.

    Host: M2 Ultra Mac Studio on Ventura

    Clients:

    M2 MacBook Air on Taheo/Sequoia

    Windows 11 Pro PC
