Mac option/command key remapping available?

I understand option/command key swapping was a feature request that was added recently

Remap option and command keys

Is this available in the latest version and if so where do I find it?

I’d like to know as well. Been trying to remap using Karabiner but NoMachine sends the input directly to the machine so it bypasses Karabiner completely. Even remapping using the Keyboard preferences from the Mac machine itself doesn’t work.

The Feature Request to add an option to allow users to map local keyboard shortcuts to the shortcuts of remote desktop OS is very much still in the works. We understand the utility of being able to optionally tell NoMachine to translate the client OS shortcuts to the ones of the remote OS, so pressing Control + C on Windows will result in the macOS shortcut Command + C, for example. Initial work was suspended due to other development priorities which is why it’s not yet available. Version 9 is now the current target.

Hi there, just checking back a month later… can you give me an ETA on ver 9 with this functionality?  I struggle with it every day and my muscle memory and PC keyboard makes me a very slow mac user.

Apologies for not getting back to you. The first releases of v9 will be dedicated to Network. Development of the feature you are interested in will start after that, so whilst it’s possible that it will be in one of the releases of the v9 branch, we are not able to give you an ETA at the moment. If we have pre-release packages for you to try out, we’ll be in touch with you 🙂
