    Hi!

I don’t know if it’s a bug or not but at least some of macOS notifications are not displayed while in the NX session. Here’s what I did:

    1. Connected with NoMachine to an iMac.

    2. Issued this command:

    sudo profiles renew -type enrollment

from the Terminal on the remote iMac but it looked like nothing happened. So I ended the NX session and went to the physical machine. Then I noticed the notifications in the upper right corner and could proceed from there. When running the above command on the physical machine the notifications always show up as opposed to an NX session where they are never shown. The remote machine is iMac 24-inch, M1, 2021 model running Ventura 13.2.1. It also happened on Ventura 13.0. The local machine is a Windows 10 system and I have NoMachine version 8.4.2 Free installed on both.

Can you tell us which specific notifications are not showing in the NoMachine session but are showing on the physical macOS desktop? Some screenshots would be useful.

Here’s a screenshot with the command that generates the notification. I tried with “Blank the physical screen when somebody connects” on and off and it’s the same in both cases. The notification itself shows up only after the NoMachine connection is closed.

On your macOS, please go to System settings -> Notifications and check that the option “Allow notifications when mirroring…” is enabled.

Is that setting system-wide or would every user have to change it?

I believe it’s a per-user setting, but it’s something you could also check with macOS’s own instructions.
