What is the minimum KDE Plasma version to work with Wayland session, I’m using 5.24.x on 22.04 LTS and I suffer the white screen issue (despite host showing as connected and working through all suggestions in the KB), is this mean’t to be supported with 22.04 LTS and stock KDE 5.24?

On the screen blanking / keyboard+mouse locking, is there a potential race condition where someone could intercept, it seems to take a second or two to kick in, but perhaps this is related to the white screen issue.

I’m tempted to explore 5.27 but I wanted to check the current Wayland/Plasma state as of today?

We are aware of a white screen issue with Wayland. It’s related to KDE running on Ubuntu 22-based versions (also Kubuntu). You can indeed try KDE 5.27. The workaround is to disable Wayland and use X.Org.

Please use the following link to track its status:
