I’ve got multiple Windows computers wired on a home gigabit network. I’d like to be able to have a mini-PC that I could plug in in another room at home to be able to occasionally login to any of these computers. I need the setup to be fast enough to work at at least 30 frames per second over two HD monitors.
I tried this with a Raspberry Pi 4 and it seems either the Raspberry is just not fast enough on the hardware side (or maybe on NoMachine) to do this….see my post in the Raspberry Pi part of the forum for details. I know my network is not the issue…I can easily control one PC with another at the speeds I need.
So, my question is, would a N100 powered mini-PC be fast enough? For instance, there’s one on Amazon called a Beelink S12 Pro for $169 that has 16GB of RAM and a gigabit ethernet. Would that work ok?
