Mouse not working after some time

I’m running an Ubuntu 14.04 NX server, 4.5.0_1, and connect to it from Ubuntu 15.04 client, same version.

Initially, NoMachine works perfectly. After some time, the mouse stops responding, and gets “stuck” to a certain window. Clicking outside of the window does nothing, but clicking in the rectangle of the window is interpreted as a click, even if the window is covered with the other window.

The problem persists even after reconnect, or after restarting NoMachine. Killing the “stuck” window doesn’t help, because the mouse gets stuck to some other window. Closing all windows doesn’t help either.

Previous posts reported that turning off screen lock may help, but my screen lock was never off to begin with.

Hello.

Are you trying to share the physical screen of the server? Or are you getting this issue in a virtual desktop session?

Are you using programs installing hotkeys on the client or server?

Could you provide more information about the desktop environments and the window managers you are using?
