    I have NoMachine 8.4.2 (free version) installed on both my Windows 10 desktop and my Windows 11 laptop.  When I connect to the laptop from the desktop, the laptop screen blanks as expected, but the mouse pointer remains visible.

    On Windows the pointer cannot be hidden, because it is drawn by Windows on a lower level which we don’t have access to. On Mac and Linux the pointer is hidden.
