NM service not starting at boot

After the Mac (server) boots up, the NM service is not starting until after the user logs into the mac from the login screen.

This started happening with NM 9.3.7 or MacOS 26.2, not sure which but this all worked previously for many years.

After the login to the mac, NM then works as normal.

Client is Windows 11 NM. Client and server both running 9.3.7.

I have verified “Start the server at System Startup” and “Make access available when the system is still in the login screen” are both checked. I’ve also just reinstalled NM on the mac with no effect.

Hi, are you able to send us the full set of logs from the Mac machine so we can check them? You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT08U00298#1.1 and setting the log level to 9 (Debug) and restart the server. Reproduce the problem as per your steps, then take the logs. Send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!

Thank you. I was able to resolve the issue by disabling File Vault on the Mac. Is NM expected to work before login with File Vault enabled?
