No audio with ALSA on CentOS6

Hi,

I’m running a few systems here with CentOS 6.4 and 6.9 (all HP Z systems)

I’ve tried the following to get audio forwarded to the client:

but no luck. Anything else to try ? On the same machine I get audio forwarded to the client fine with HP RGS.

I need ALSA as Pulse is not supported on the apps I need to run on these systems.

Hi,

Alsa doesn’t work on the physical session. To resolve this problem you may need to create different kind of session. Please follow this article for more information.

As a second workaround we may suggest to install Pulse Audio.
