I installed the NoMachine server (4.0.362) on a 10.7.5 machine and whenever I try to connect I receive the following error:
No available sessions on this server

I have read the post here https://www.nomachine.com/forums/topic/no-available-sessions-on-this-server-error but the solutions listed there don’t seem to apply to MacOS systems. I noticed that on this machine the NoMachines icon did not appear on the system bar like it does on other systems. The logs indicate that I was able to login successfully but then there are no sessions available.

The iMac that has the issue does have multiple monitors installed, but I don’t know if that makes a difference or not.

    Hi csteelatgburg,

Are there any crash reports of nxnode in: /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ ?

Can you send us the log files? (issues[at]nomachine.com)

    # tar zcf logs1.tar.gz /Library/Application\ Support/NoMachine/var/log/
    # tar zcf logs2.tar.gz /Users//.nx

We also need some additional information:

    – NoMachine product and version on local computer
    – local Windows/Mac/Linux version (Windows XP/7/8, OS X 10.x, Ubuntu xyz, Mint x.y, etc.)

Thank you for submitting the logs. A Trouble Report has been inserted:

A fix will be available in one of the next updates.

FYI, I restarted my machine after installing MacOS updates and the NoMachine server now launches and the icon appears in the menu bar. I am able to connect to the system but only the primary display is visible (I have an external monitor attached to my iMac).
