No icons and no menus but just wallpaper

Hi,

My connection: From NX Client on Windows to NX Server on Mac

After I log in, I get Mac’s typical red/pink static background wallpaper showing up but nothing else (no icons, no menu bars, no dock)

I can click the top-right to get the NX menu stuff.

One time, the top menu bar items were showing at the bottom (upside down) in a different language but I was not able to click any of them.

Anyone getting the same thing and know how to fix it?

NoMachine does not change the language of the system on which you install it. During installation of NoMachine you can select the language to use. Did you install NoMachine yourself? What language did you select?

Regarding the ‘upside down’. This has been dealt with already in our forums. Please take a look at, for example:

If these tips don’t help, please provide:

– version of macOS
– version of NoMachine on connecting client
– version of NoMachine on the computer you are connecting to.

And please provide screenshots showing the problems encountered.
