I am remoting into a headless Ubuntu 24.04 system from my local computer. Using my local mouse and keyboard, I can fully interact with the remote system, viewing it through a virtual monitor running by NX’s built-in x server.

My needs include to be able to use the remote mouse and keyboard connected to the headless machine. Currently, the session don’t not reflect any input made by the remote mouse or remote keyboard.

    I hope there is a setting/config I am missing.

Hi, there is no setting for what you are asking. With NoMachine, when a remote computer is a headless machine, we create a virtual display (an embedded X server). This display is not connected to the local input devices, so they can’t be used.
