I had the same issue on Ubuntu 22.04, but for brief moment it was not there when I switched to Ubuntu 20.04. But now again the issue has emerged. For few days Chromium (Snap) worked fine with sound but now it doesn’t.

I am using Oracle Cloud’s arm64 instance and I’m accessing it with NoMachine.

Whichever application I install from Snap I do not have sound output for it.(I tried Snap install kdenlive) The application doesn’t show up in the pavucontrol either. I want Chromium(Snap) to have sound, but it does not have sound. When I use terminal and write Snap run Chromium, I get  Failed to load module “canberra-gtk-module” error.

I tried installing libcanberra-gtk3-module and libcanberra-gtk3-module; they are already the newest version. Chromium throws the same error.

I even tried sudo apt-get install libcanberra-gtk* still the same error. Please help

    Hi,

like I wrote last time in the topic here:
    https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/no-sound-for-snap-installed-applications-ubuntu-22-04-1-arm64#post-39926

We’re not able to reproduce and need logs. Instructions in the link above.
