I am a NoMachine free, Linux version user. I currently use a NoMachine client to get to my Linux desktop. With NoMachine 6 will I be able to skip the NoMachine client and get through to my desktop with just a web browser?

It isn’t clear from the news announcement whether this “extended web access to other products” will include the free versions. It seems like maybe not.

Did you see the ‘What’s coming up’ page linked from the home-page? https://www.nomachine.com/what-s-coming-up

All Enterprise products will have the feature of browser-based access with the release of NoMachine 6. “Web-based access will no longer be exclusive to Cloud Server. This highly-requested functionality will become available in all products of the Terminal Server and Cloud Server suites.”

For those users of the free version that want browser-based access, we’ll be making available an Enterprise Desktop Subscription package at an affordable price. That could be an option for you 🙂
