I have NM running on a Win10 machine (Client) and an Ubuntu 22.04 (host). This link has been rock solid for months, but updating to the latest release on both machines (8.3.1) has introduced some instability.

On the Win10 machine, I now have to “start” the software several times before the connection window pops up.

On the Ubuntu host, the association with the D-drive on my Win10 client is now very flaky, with the drive being present but not accessible, or not even seen by the host machine.

Both these issues can be overcome, but the system is not as stable as it was last week.

What was your previous version when you didn’t see this behaviour? There were no changes in the client between 8.2 and 8.3 which could cause this.

You could try cleaning up the user files directory, by closing the client and deleting almost everything in C:\Users\<username>\.nx , but keeping only folders ‘config’ and ‘cache’.
