I am sharing a remote linux server with a colleague. To be clear we are both on remote machines and using NoMachine to share a desktop on the  server.  I would like to be able to use a drawing tablet to sketch things like math formulas as we are developing ideas.  All machine are running Ubuntu Linux.

Does anyone have an idea whether this might be possible using the XP-PEN Star03 V2.

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Hi,

There are two ways, how to use it.

    1. Use XP-PEN as a mouse and all its movements will be transferred to the remote machine just the same way as mouse works. You will not need to install any drivers on the server-side. But, you will not be able to use custom functionality of it.

    2. Forward XP-PEN from one of the client devices to the server device. In that case, you will need to install XP-PEN drivers on the remote machine and will be able to use its whole functionality. But, we didn’t test exactly that model in our labs, so we can’t guarantee that it will be fully compatible. If you are going to try, please inform us about the results. This mode may not work well if you will have connected two devices from each session.

Additionally, in the second mode, we have tested various Wacom tablets (including Intuos) and they were working fine.
