NoMachine causes extreme lag and spawns numerous tray monitor processes

Whenever I launch NoMachine, my computer becomes extremely laggy. The system slows down severely — even moving the mouse is very choppy, almost like watching a PowerPoint slideshow.

This happens immediately after opening NoMachine. I have already tried uninstalling NoMachine completely, deleting all configuration files, rebooting the system, and then reinstalling it, but the issue persists.

I checked Task Manager and noticed that there are a large number of “NoMachine Tray Monitor” processes running at the same time.

My system specifications are as follows:

OS: Windows 11 Home (Chinese version)

Version: 25H2

Installed on: July 28, 2025

OS Build: 26200.7462

Windows Feature Experience Pack: 1000.26100.275.0

Has anyone encountered a similar issue, or does anyone know what might be causing this behavior and how to resolve it?

Hi, are you able to send us the full set of logs from the Windows machine so we can check them? You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT08U00298#1.1 and setting the log level to 9 (Debug) and restart the server. Reproduce the problem, then take the logs.
