NoMachine client 4 Clipboard

Hello

I recently upgraded from NX 3.5.0 to NX 4 (both client and server).

In 3.5.0 I could select some text in my NX session with my mouse, go to my windows PC and paste the text with CTRL-V in notepad.

In version 4.0.366_5 I explicitly need to right click and select copy after selecting the text but I can paste it to my Windows CP.

Is this a bug? Because this was a very useful feature in 3.5.0.

Has been solved by restarting NX Server   !!!

Thanks for letting us know 🙂

It would have been interesting to understand what happened, but I don’t think this had to do with the server. The CTRL+V you are talking about is handled by the application that is target of the clipboard operation, not by the NX server.

If the copy+paste operation worked by right clicking on the selection, it should have worked even using a keystroke. It is more likely that the problem was resolved by the application restart.

I will close this topic now. Just open a new one if you need to.
