Using the latest version for Windows, 6.11.2 (also tried older versions), is seems NoMachine fails to detect my screen resolution. I have an extern 4k monitor, with 3840 x 2160, but the detected resolution seems to be 2560 x 1440, or this is what I get when I choose “Match the client resolution upon connecting”. By setting “Use custom resolution” to 4k, I only get a blurry picture since the it tries to down scale it to 2560 x 1440.

My main computer is a laptop with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 as screen 1, and my 4k monitor is connected as a second screen  through HDMI. The remote desktop is a server using Linux Fedora. It seems to be local issue for me since if another person connects to the same session, it looks good in 4k.

Is there a way to force the resolution to the correct one?

    Thanks,

    Fredrik

By setting “Use custom resolution” to 4k, I only get a blurry picture since then it tries to down scale it to 2560 x 1440.

To clarify, I first get scrollers on the window borders, since  it can’t display it 1 to 1, then when I choose fit to window, then the picture gets blurry.

Problem solved: it was the scaling setting in Windows that was set to 150%, setting it to 100% solved the problem.
