Downloaded .debĀ  installer for NoMachine linux on Ubuntu.

I have my firewall set up to protect certain interfaces, yet when NoMachine services start, it adds two iptables rules .

The first for mdns – that can be disabled using the menu – disable broadcast service.

The second, port 4000 on all interfaces.

Each boot I need to manually disable those rules, since they comprise my firewall.

How can I stop it from adding said rules each boot?

You can disable it in server.cfg by setting EnableFirewallConfiguration key to 0.
