    Hello,

    I ‘m french.

I bought a Windows computer in Germany, but I don’t speak german.

I manage to switch my windows profile to french and normally all my installations are in french.

I installed NoMachine! and chose french as language during installation (this old version was 7.2.3)

I used NoMachine! for some months without any problem in french

The last time I used it, NoMachine asked for an update and I authorized it  (stupid mistake ? )

but after the reboot the UIs (both service UI and client UI ) were in german ! I can manage by hand, the change to french in client UI, but NOT to service UI

I tried to uninstalled it , do a fresh download (7.7.4.0, neutral language) choose french but each time the language is back to german beside the fact I choose french as my language.

So I guess the installer gets an info somewhere in the OS (but where ?) and does not use my language choice during installation

That’s a real problem for configuration like mine.

    Any clue?

For your info, I reinstalled the old version 7.2.3 and everything is back to normal (french UIs are OK)

Hi. The language you select in the installer changes only the EULA, it doesn’t affect the software language.
Open NoMachine client, click Settings, select Appearance and choose your language in the combo box on the right page. We’ll check the reason why the language automatically switches to a different language, but the configuration above should be enough to solve your problem.
