PoastRotatoParticipantI’ve got a NoMachine server running on my Windows 11 PC, which I connect to from my Manjaro laptop via a Wireguard tunnel. This works well for the most part, except that NoMachine has trouble separating my monitors. I have four monitors connected to my PC, but NoMachine only displays three of them, and it doesn’t seem to consider them as separate monitors; it shows them all on the same screen. There are no buttons in the NoMachine display menu to configure individual monitor settings, and the keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + Alt + 1, 2, 3, …) don’t work either, so I’m thinking NoMachine just isn’t detecting the separate displays on my PC. Is there any way I can force it to recognize that my PC has multiple displays?

BritgirlKeymasterHi, we are aware of an issue with multi-monitors not being detected in some cases. Are you able to send us the logs of the server side so we can check that it is the same issue? You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT08U00298. Attach them here or send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks for your collaboration.

PoastRotatoParticipantLogs attached as requested (I just set the log level as 6 – Standard). Some additional context that may be helpful: One of my four displays is my living room TV, connected via HDMI, whereas the rest of my displays are traditional monitors connected via DisplayPort. I also just discovered that the issue goes away when I disconnect the TV display; I’m not sure if this is because of the nature of the TV as a display, the HDMI vs DisplayPort connection, or the fact that I’ve brought the total displays down from 4 to 3.

fra81ModeratorHi, from the logs, we see that a Windows API isn’t returning the expected monitor count, so strictly speaking, this isn’t a nomachine bug. However, we plan to make our monitor checks more reliable and less dependent on that single API. You can expect improvements in a future release.
