Hi, I was wondering if there’s any plan to release NoMachine Workstation for Linux/ARM or RPi, and/or whether it’s already available.
I was considering to replace a number of Intel NUCs with the upcoming RPi4, which, among other things, is supposed to be much more performant than the Atom-based nucs i have, but no NX-workstation availability is a bit ofย a showstopper for me.
I’m evaluating whether to switch to VNC or just stay on x86.. Eventually i would probably try with VNC, which in general has decent performance, but if NX-workstation would be available, then that’d be perfect.
Oh, if you wonder why regular nx is not an option, well, because in my experience the h264-compressed video streaming has generally performed worse than VNC, for me, while the “light” protocol (from nx3 times) is still far superior to everything else available for Linux
