    Hi !

I installed NoMachine free version 5.3 on my laptop and  my lab desktop, my laptop has Windows 7 and lab desktop has Ubuntu 16.04. When I want to try to get access to my home laptop through lab desktop remotely it shows error 110  and when I want to get access to my lab desktop through home laptop it shows error 138. I am not sure what exactly the problem is, I searched on forums and most of them says I have to run some kind of debug software to get more info, so can someone help me with that. Also when I took my home laptop to my friends place and tried to get access to my laptop through my lab desktop , it was working but for vice versa it was still not, so I am not sure whether it is  wifi router problem or network problem or something else.

If you are trying to connect from external network you need to connect to the external IP and correct port. If the router on the server side supports UPnP commands you just need to enable UPnP in server configuration (check “Enabling UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping” section on: https://www.nomachine.com/AR11L00827).

The correct IP and port you can find on NoMachine “Welcome screen” (example you can find on Fig. 8 on: https://www.nomachine.com/getting-started-with-nomachine).
