Hi to all,
I am running NoMachine with the actual version 5.2.11 for Windows on a Windows 10 (home version 32 bit) tablet. It worked since one week ago. After an unwanted update of Windows there is no chance to make the nx-service run. It starts for 40 seconds than it stops. nx runs on port 4035 in my network. The tablet is allowed to open the needed ports in my router Fritz Box 7490. Following ports are open: TCP 4035 UDP 4526. I tried everything: Uninstalled the version with total uninstall, reinstalled the newest version, restarted the tablet a couple of times. No changes in the behavior of nx server. The Symbol of nx is not shown on the task bar. I have another Windows 10 machine (desktop W10 pro 64bit) to this and to all other pc’s all connections are working. On all machines (Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, Ubuntu 14.04 32 and 64bit, Windows 8.1 32bit, Windows 10 64bit and Windows 7 64bit) I use the actual version 5.2.11 and the connections are working fine. What should I do to resolve this problem on the tablet? Since one week I tried to resolve this problem myself as I’m IT-Systems and network advisor. Thanks for your help in advance.

April 14, 2017 at 11:51 #14417BritgirlKeymasterI think you should update your NoMachine installation to 5.2.21, at least to exclude that you are not experiencing a recent problem triggered by the Windows Creators Update (see https://www.nomachine.com/softwareupdates). If you continue to have the problem, let us know.
p.s the title has been edited accordingly.

I did this update on all of my machines but it didn’t change nothing on the W10 tablet. Same behaviour as before
April 20, 2017 at 10:02 #14489BritgirlKeymasterWe’ll need to see the logs from both sides. Please follow the instructions you can find here: https://www.nomachine.com/DT07M00098
Then, zip them up and attach them to an email which you can send to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com
June 7, 2017 at 11:58 #15016BritgirlKeymasterSince we haven’t received logs, I suggest you update to 5.3.9 and let us know if the problem persists. If it does, we’ll need logs to be able to investigate further.

Ciao
