Why does this require having X running to configure it?
I installed the RPM and when I brought up VNC NX4 was running. If you’re installing this on a Linux machine most of the time it will be on a headless box where you want to start up gui apps remotely.

can you provide more details on what you are trying to do? Do you simply have a headless machine with X installed but no monitor? Is this the answer you are looking for?
