hi all,
I’m evaluating the Linux free desktop product before purchasing.
I wasn’t surprised to see considerable NX cpu usage whilst a client was connected, but I was surprised to find that nxnode.bin seems to use a constant 5% cpu when there are no clients connected
I’m using the inbuilt X server, with an XFCE desktop. It stops when I logout before disconnecting a client, thus stopping the inbuilt X server.
This is on Debian, on an older system, 8GB RAM. Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3.00GHz
NoMachine 6.4.6-1
Is the constant 5% cpu expected, when no client connected? Any way to reduce it?
Thanks very much indeed.
