    In NoMachine 6.10.12 , the connection become fuzzy after upgrade Ubuntu to 20.04 , so I set

    ProxyExtraOptions “pack=16m-png”

    from this way

    https://forums.nomachine.com/topic/non-monochrome-fonts-in-qt-applications-are-fuzzy-and-badly-anti-aliased

    and everything work fine in 6.10.12 . after upgrade to 6.11.2 today , the connection become white and blank , I try to remove the “ProxyExtraOptions” and connect success , but the screen back to fuzzy that cannot be distinguished the character.

    The logs show nothing wrong with pack=16m-png. The logs show a failed session attempt. We can see that NoMachine creates a virtual display. This happens when the physical display is unavailable such as in headless scenarios. Is the Linux server headless? Are you still getting a white screen? What client are you connecting from?

    Yes, the server is running on a headless machine. I’ve tried the following combinations:

    ( client => 6.11.2, server => 6.11.2 )

    ( client => 6.10.12, server => 6.11.2 )

    ( client => 6.11.2, server => 6.10.12 )

    the screen is still white, It works only when both sides are 6.10.12

    I’ve been using version 6.10.12 all this time, and I’m still waiting for the new version to try again.

    I’m pretty sure this has nothing to do with pack option. Let me suggest to try to check “Disable client side hardware decoding” in the NoMachine menu, if you have the  chance.

    Great, after upgrading server to 6.11.2 and checked the “Disable client side hardware decoding”, the connection was successful (without pack option), but the screen back to fuzzy, then I checked the “Disable client side image post-processing”, the screen return to normal, just that the remote response is a little bit slower, but it is still acceptable.

    Thank you all!

    Would you send the client side log (folder %USERPROFILE%\.nx) ?

    There are many subfolders in it, and it is more than 400MB, how should I send it to you?

    Either Dropbox or Google, we don’t mind.

    Hello.

    I have not found anything useful in logs. Would you try the latest NoMachine software update (6.12.3)?
