Paste from ipad client doesn’t work?

Having just moved to the new NoMachine client for ipad, I’m finding that attempting to paste from another ipad app doesn’t appear to work.

For example, I copy a URL from the Safari app, and switch to the NoMachine client.  I get an iPadOS prompt that asks if I want to allow paste from Safari.  I say yes.

However, using either the correct paste keystroke… CTRL+SHIFT+V or pressing on the screen to get a popup, I can see nothing pasted.  In fact the Linux paste and go option is greyed out on the popup.

However, if I switch to another app… in my case [removed] to the same Linux host, paste works fine.

Is this a bug, perhaps, or did I mis-configure a setting in the NoMachine client?

Hi. We’ve no recorded issues on iPad copy&paste functionalities. What is your iPad model, iPadOS version and server side NoMachine product?

iPad model: ipad pro 10.5″

iPados version: 17.7.8

NoMachine server version: 8.16.1 running on ubuntu 22.04.

Noticing that sever version 9.0.188 was available, I’ve just moved to that and the cut and paste *appears* to work now with some limited testing.
