Problems with antivirus

Hello,

I have some problems with NoMachine because of my antivirus Trend Micro. NoMachine is the only software on my Mac affected.

Every 15 sd NoMachine freezes, so when I’m typing, some letters do not appear.  I have also made a ticket on Trend forum, but I have no answer for the moment.

I will appreciate any help.

Sorry, I forgot to include my versions.

I’m using NoMachine Enterprise Client 5.3.12 on Mac Os X 10.12.6

and the remote version is NoMachine Terminal Server Subscription – Version 4.4.12 on openSUSE 12.3 (x86_64)

It’s a virtual display.

Hello katwes,

do your problems with freezes disappear when you disable Trend Micro antivirus?  Why do you think that it’s related?

We are not able to reproduce your issue with similar environment and Trend Micro enabled, could you please reproduce the issue again and send your server and client side logs to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com? (instruction how to collect logs: https://www.nomachine.com/DT07M00098)

The problem disappear when I disable Trend Micro antivirus.

Finally Trend support gave me an answer.

I have to delete the TmLoginMgr line in the automatic start program.
