    Hi,

I’m having the following strange phenomenon: Since recently, when I login from remote to my system, I don’t get to see the regular screen of my user, but in a way, I login again to the system as a “separate me”. Thus I don’t get to see the same screen on my original computer, I can see from remote.

For some applications, this is quite annoying, since I can only start them once. They are blocked on one of the “me” on the system. I can I change it back, so I can see remotely my actual screen on the server machine?

The system is an Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on both machines. NoMachine version is 8.11.3

Hi, are you able to send us the full server-side logs so we can check what’s happening? You can extract them using the instructions here: https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243

Send them to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com. Please use the title of this topic as the subject of your email. Thanks!

Additionally, any journalctl output (sudo journalctl -x |grep -i gdm) and the output of ps -ef.

Hi, the logs we received did not have debug enabled. Please enable debug as described in the instructions in my earlier reply, reproduce the problem again, then gather the logs. An updated journalctl and ps -ef should be provided so that they are aligned. Thank you.
