I’m using NoMachine Enterprise Desktop. I’ve enabled web-access as anonymous user. When I try to enter the server via https://IP:4443 I get the option, but when I choose it, it never shows and notification on the server and the client hangs forever in the “Request access as a visitor for desktop sharing” message. I’m using Arch Linux and Openbox  on the host. I’m not quite sure why it’s not working.

    Best regards,
    Andreas

    Hi,

Access as guest desktop sharing user requires always the approval of the remote desktop owner.

Someone should accept on the remote computer, the request of the guest.

The problem is that there is no popup showing up to accept the user. I get the balloons showing when I login but those with buttons don’t seam to like Openbox? What is the problem here?

    Hello,

Please enable debug, reproduce the problem and send us the logs.

You can gather both player and server side logs by following the instructions in https://kb.nomachine.com/DT07S00243. You can send the logs to forum[at]nomachine[dot]com.

This will be closed because we didn’t receive the logs. What we suggest is that you update to the latest version and resubmit a new topic if you are still not seeing the balloon pop up to accept. We are not aware of any issues. We will need to know the operating systems being used, and versions, and if you are using Linux, also the desktop environment.
