I have a Mac Mini running Sonoma 14.0.   All is well, running “Fullscreen” and “Resize Remote Display.”   It is not headless.

When the Mac times out and screen locks, NoMachine deactivates the “Resize Remote Display” setting.     If I just re-enable it, everything is fine again.

    Is this known/as expected?

The behaviour is normal, because the client is configured to be always at the same size of the remote desktop, and the lock screen changes its size to a geometry not supported by the client. Whether this can be improved is not easy to say. The desktop and the lock screen have different geometries.

This is roughly the response I expected, that’s why I didn’t suggest it is a bug 🙂

I guess I would like it better if the “Resize Remote Display” setting would be sticky for the duration of the session.   I.e. when I unlock the screen, the server side could notify that this happens and the client could attempt to reapply the “Resize Remote Display” setting, instead of making me do it.

It is particularly annoying that there doesn’t appear to be a keyboard shortcut for doing it, so I can’t add it to my muscle memory.

Thanks for your great product, I hope maybe some of these suggestions are useful.
