This is a followup to a previous thread. I have tested using NoMachine 8.8.1 on both player and server with the same result. I cannot resize application windows if the server is running Wayland under Ubuntu 22 (Xorg on Ubuntu 22 is fine). I am connecting from a Mac,
Can you provide details of how to collect logs and exactly what logs you need or point me to a FAQ that provides that information.
Thanks,

we were not able to reproduce your issue in our labs. We noticed that in some cases cursor shape does not change, but if clicked in correct spot windows would resize. Can you confirm that you tried resizing despite cursor not changing shape and even thought it could be difficult to get?
If you are sure it is not the case then may you please provide us with more details about your setup? Things like GPU model, driver version, is it a virtual machine, or anything that is unusual in your setup that could help us narrow your problem.

The issue is not (just) the cursor the window cannot be drag-sized from the corner, the right side or the bottom.
Both machines have generic (non modified) installs of Ubuntu 22.04.03 desktop. My client is running Ventura. I’m accepting all of the default connection options (no resizing etc).
Here are the outputs of lshw -c video for the two machines (they are both older machines but I believe meet your minimum specs).

We are investigating, we will let you know soon.
Thank you for your patience.
October 8, 2023 at 12:22 #45607prestoParticipantI’ve retested this with NoMachine 8.9.1 (client and server). The behavior has not changed.
October 9, 2023 at 16:58 #45628BritgirlKeymasterHi, thanks for notifying us.
The problem is that we haven’t been able to reproduce even after many attempts. What we do produce is the cursor not changing shape, but clicking in the right spot, the window does resize. But that “right spot” is a single pixel-wide so it can be difficult to find. It is possible that you are not finding the correct spot? It can take several clicks and nudges of the cursor.
