I have a Windows host, that I use to access a Linux VM.  When I use the right CTRL key for a short cut, for example to paste from the Windows host to the Linux VM, the Right CTRL key is interpreted as pressed down on the guest VM until both CTRL keys are pressed again.  This has caused no shortage of grief while switching back and forth between host and VM.

This issue has persisted through multiple updates of the NoMachine software, and I’ve attempted to adjust various settings, with no resolution to the issue.  There are multiple users with an identical setup, but only one device has this issue.  I have also attempted all manner of updates on the Windows host, as well as swapping hardware, again with no luck

Sounds strange indeed. Could it be possible that the key release gets grabbed by another application and for this reason it’s not reaching the remote desktop? Since it only happens with the Right Ctrl, can you check whether there is a software or configuration using that key?

In any case, it would be useful to know which version of Windows, which Linux distro, what desktop environment on that Linux distro. I also assume you have the latest 8.2 on both client and server machines.
