This is more informative than a request for help, as I was able to figure out how to run a NoMachine client instance without having to install it (I don’t have admin privileges on my machine). Perhaps this can be added to the knowledge base so that it can be internet searchable as other people might find it useful.

To run NoMachine client on a machine you don’t have administrative privileges for, do the following:

    1. Download the NoMachine Windows installer from the downloads page.
    2. Download innoextract from the GitHub releases page: https://github.com/dscharrer/innoextract/releases/latest
    3. Extract innoextract from the zip file and move the innoextract executable into the same directory that has the NoMachine installer (probably Downloads)
    4. Run the following command: .\innoextract.exe -e -d nomachine .\nomachine_<version>.exe
    5. Go into nomachine/app/bin and run nxplayer.exe, and use NoMachine client like normal.

Hi, thanks for submitting this. If you don’t need the server component for your computer (i.e you don’t want to be able to connect to this computer, but you only want to use it as a device to connect from), you could also try installing Enterprise Client which can also be installed using a regular account (without admin privileges).
